Nice to meet you, I’m Jordan.

I hold an M.S. Degree in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University. I have worked in the mental health counseling and substance abuse field for over five years, including prior experience in working with adolescents and adults with dual diagnoses. I prefer to meet clients where they are to develop rapport and encourage change through a positive and supportive therapeutic relationship. My interests include using motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, EMDR, and mindfulness-based approaches along with trauma-informed care. I'm also a practicing Brainspotting clinician as well as being EMDR trained.

I believe in the power of connection and enjoy working with family and support networks to help clients realize their therapeutic goals. I enjoy working with the LGBTQIA population and use personal experience to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and caring space for exploration, growth, and healing.

I have received a number of accolades including membership in Chi Sigma Iota, the international and professional academic honor society for counseling students, counselor educators, and professional counselors.

As a former collegiate athlete, I earned All-American status in soccer and basketball and was the 2002 National Soccer Player of the Year in soccer. As an athlete and outdoor enthusiast, I believe that healing and growth can come from pushing personal limits and connecting with others through athletics and nature. I'm an avid hiker and completed 650 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail in 2021 before an injury sidelined me.

When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, and CrossFit. I believe in the power of nature to connect spiritually.
