Nice to meet you, I’m Loren.
I’ve been working in the field for four years and I am very grateful to be part of this profession. My approach to therapy is to provide a safe space in which clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences. I strive to create a space of non-judgment and unconditional support where clients can be their authentic selves. I’m also experienced in utilizing mindfulness and somatic based treatments in my practice.
I am a Qualified Mental Health Provider in the State of Oregon, an LPC-Associate, and have completed training in EMDR as well as the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence’s training (OCADSV). I received my Masters from Pacific University in Clinical Psychology. I am also a certified yoga instructor and can incorporate this into my practice when welcomed by my clients.
I have experience working with individuals with trauma, most recently with people who have experienced interpersonal violence (IPV). I utilize Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Strengths Based therapy (SBT), and Internal Family Systems therapy(IFS).
