Nice to meet you, I’m Jess.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in social work from the University of Tennessee. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings and specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults but I also love the opportunity to work with families and people throughout the life span.

My style is relationship-focused, collaborative, and strengths-based. I work from the perspective that people are always doing the best they can. I understand that while we all hold our own individual truth, we can sometimes get lost from it. It is important to me that clients feel seen, heard, and accepted in whatever space or stage of life they are in.

I enjoy helping clients (re-)build their sense of self, worth, efficacy, and voice by identifying their strengths and struggles and working with clients to develop personal goals they align with. I have experience working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, suicide ideation, grief, trauma, family conflict, relationship struggles, addiction, and identity work. I am passionate about working with marginalized individuals and am a LGBTQ+ ally.
